My alternator went out on the way to the Houston airport. I called Hometown tire and auto at 8 AM as soon as they opened. They took down my vehicle information and said if I could get the vehicle there, they would get me in as soon as possible. After getting into the shop, they immediately took my vehicle in. They ordered a new part as they were already removing the old alternator. I was on the road in an hour and a half. I was impressed that the mechanic did a test drive as well as the shop foreman. I feel very blessed that my vehicle broke down where it did. I may have missed my flight but was able to get another because of the quick turnaround. Hometown gained my respect and a new customer. Even though they are not as close as I would like I will be taking our vehicles there in the future. Thank you very much Hometown tire and auto! You give exceptional service.

Hometown Tire & Auto literally Lied about almost everything! Down to telling me my tire sensor was "broken", all because they forgot to / did not put air in my tires during the inspection that paid for. They felt it was easier to say "oh the light is still on because your sensor is broken". I literally took it to Walmart for air, and the light went off immediately after actually being filled, and I was informed the back driver side tire was the lowest. I have a list of things that I can prove regarding this dishonest behavior and poor service that I received. You never know who's stopping or they know. I'll be in touch soon.
